The X-Men’s Worst Relationship Rekindled in Wolverine Infinity Watch #5 (Preview)

It’s a good time to be an X-Men fan. Cyclops is back from the dead. That’s great! Jean Grey is back too. Also good. And Wolverine is back. Ehhhh… well, he hasn’t done anything too annoying yet.

But all of that changes next week in Wolverine Infinity Watch #1, which shows Logan visiting the X-Mansion for the first time since his return, to meet up with the woman he pined after for decades (and who occasionally pined after him, moreso after the modern crop of Marvel writers who treat Wolverine like a Hairy Mary Sue came to prominence).

That meeting is captured in this snippet of the preview below.

Didn’t he stab her around the last time they saw each other?

And god, was it that long ago. Jeeze, we’re getting old.

Wolverine Infinity Watch #1 hits stores next Wednesday.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
