Doctor Strange #20 is in stores this week from Marvel Comics, the final issue of the series, by Mark Waid, Javier Pina, and Brian Reber. We've got a preview below.

We know that the doc will be starting his Marvel life anew with a new number one issue and a new title, Surgeon Supreme. And it's in that role where we find Strange in this preview, as a patient is rushed into an emergency room…

…and the doctors call in the only man who can save her.

But things turn quickly to a nightmare.

It turns out to be just a dream… but it's more than that, as for the first time since his origin story, Doctor Strange can once again perform the surgery his ruined hands have prevented for all these decades (or like, five years in Marvel time, however that works).

And now Strange is faced with a moral dilemma, as though he certainly has enough responsibilities as Earth's Sorceror Supreme, he also has a responsibility to use all his gifts to help others.

And more importantly, to use the gift of a new number one issue to boost Marvel's comic book sales. Doctor Strange #20 is in stores on Wednesday.
