Does Gambit Still Want to Be an X-Man? Mr. and Mrs. X #11 Preview

Mr. and Mrs. X is ending soon to make way for Jonathan Hickman's fancy-pants X-Men reboot. Many are excited about it, but maybe there are some people who aren't really interested in the third X-Men relaunch in a year's span, and some who perhaps don't want a 150-issue intellectual X-epic that requires new charts and symbols each issue to explain. Gambit, after all, is a simple man, and we find him in this preview of Mr. and Mrs. X #11 contemplating his future with the X-Men.

Gambit isn't even sure where Rogue will end up in this new status quo, with most of the X-Men "dead" (but actually in the Age of X-Man) and the rest slowing dying under the pen of Matthew Rosenberg. And that's not even considering whatever massive changes Hickman plans to make.

So for now, Gambit is concentrating on his thief side. After all, it's a lot less complicated.
