Scarlet Spider’s Continuity is Too Convoluted for the Inheritors to Swallow in Next Week’s Spider-Geddon Finale

Spider-Geddon, the Spider-people crossover event that’s seemingly been going on for the past six years, finally ends next Wednesday with the release of Spider-Geddon #5. In a preview of that issue, the Inheritors have gotten their hands on the Scarlet Spider, and they plan to have him for lunch. But the Spider has a built-in-defense mechanism when Jennix tries to consume his essence…

Thinking quickly, he recounts his long and convoluted history, which encompasses the longest and most confusing Marvel story of all time: the Clone Saga. And that, it seems, is just too much for Jennix to handle…

Yeah, that’s how we felt when we read it. At least you only got the recap.

Spider-Geddon #5 mercifully concludes next Wednesday.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
