Jean Grey Leads New Team In X-Men: Red From Tom Taylor And Mahmud Asrar

Marvel has announced yet another ongoing X-Men series to follow the resurrection of Jean Grey. Jean will lead her own team of X-Men in X-Men Red, written by Tom Taylor with art by Mahmud Asrar and covers by Travis Charest. The book follows a general strategy at Marvel of choosing the titles of new ongoing X-books by closing their eyes and pulling a random crayon out of a Crayola box.

The news was announced via video, celebrating Jean Grey through the years. Remember the deaths. The resurrections. More deaths. More resurrections. And another resurrection coming up, leading to this new series, which launches in February. Check out the video below:

Hey, if nothing else, three concurrent ongoing X-Men series will push up those legacy numbers even more quickly!

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
