Disney Creating All-Ages Marvel Titles, Starting With A Spider-Man Christmas Special

At the Marvel retailer meeting at San Diego Comic-Con, it was announced that Disney will be creating all-ages books featuring Marvel characters to introduce kids to the Marvel universe and its many heroes and villains.

You know, like Marvel used to do by themselves.

The first one will be a Spider-Man Christmas special, entitled Deck The Malls.

Marvel Comics are doing their own outreach — this is a first look at the Marvel Value Stamp with art by Mike McKone:

Marvel previews is now free to retailers to give away to customers. They recommend they put them in store restrooms, a suggestion from Bleeding Cool's own Aaron Haaland of A Comic Shop in Orlando, Florida.

And they will have a TV commercial to advertise the upcoming Generations one-shots.
