Batman #89 Misprint Sells For $700

Batman #89 features the first cameo appearance of Punchline, the Joker's new girlfriend, which has seen copies of the comic selling for $25 and more, easily. But one reader noticed there was something up with his copy. He found pages that didn't have any defining black ink, and images that were far darker than expected.

Auto Draft Auto Draft

So he put it on eBay for $999.99, accepting Best Offers, purely on a whim, saying;

This rare printing was printed with these black / unlettered / misprinted pages on two full and one partial page of the book. See pictures. Sold as is, no returns. Actual pictures of comic being sold. Shipped priority mail with insurance. International shipping costs are determined by eBay international shipping manager. International and domestic taxes are charged by eBay, not me.

Hours later, he had an accepted offer of $700. And then the money was in his Paypal account. So, maybei t's worth checking your Batman #89 in case you have anything similar?
