Games Workshop Reveals Sisters of Battle Army Set Contents

It’s been a pretty exciting week for Warhammer 40K fans, with Games Workshop revealing that the fan favorite Sisters of Battle will be finally getting their brand new Army Set before the end of the year. And in true Games Workshop fashion, the announcement comes right alongside the pre-order date, which is this coming weekend. You’ll be able to order the Sisters of Battle Army Set from your favorite game store in a couple of days, with a projected release date of November 29th… you know, Black Friday.

The Warhammer Community Page shared some unboxing details of the new Sisters of Battle Army Set, which looks fantastic:

Let’s see what we’re dealing with. First up is the Battle Sisters Squad – the mainstay of every Adepta Sororitas army across the Imperium. This unit is armed with a mix of holy boltguns, flamers and storm bolters with which to purge both the heretic and the witch.

Check out the sister raising high the Simulacrum, a blessed relic that exhorts the Battle Sisters to fight with utmost zeal.

I am pretty impressed with the range of the new plastic models, which should allow for a certain amount of custom work. This is something we haven’t really had much of an opportunity with in the past, since the majority of the previous Sisters of Battle miniatures were cast in pewter.

There is quite a bit more in that big Army Set, with a full Seraphim Squad, a Sisters Redemptia Squad, a pack of Arco-Flagellants, a brand new Penitent Engine, and a brand new Canoness the lead your Sisters of Battle into the fray!

Finally, the Army Set comes with a brand new, full size Codex!

After sifting through frame after frame of awesome new models, you’ll come across a certain Adepta Sororitas codex – and yes, we’re talking about the FULL CODEX! Not only that, but the codex features cover art that is exclusive to the Sisters of Battle Army Set!
