Everyone's Favorite Space Redneck Gets His Own Comic in Yondu #1 [Preview]

Yondu #1 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, as the character who proves even outer space has rednecks finally gets his own solo series, perhaps a few years too late, but what are you gonna do? From Zac Thompson, Lonnie Nadler, John McCrea, and more, we've got a preview below…

And we find Yondu on a remote planet up to some very Yondu-type @#$%… siphoning gas.

But when the cops try to put a damper on Yondu's activities, he doesn't take kindly to it, breaking out a space tazer.

Yondu needs to make a quick escape, and his green energy powered solar sails aren't going to cut it, and we also see the space equivalent of truck balls…

Later, Yondu heads to a meeting with an old friend… but it turns out he arrived a little too late.

Though it seems the trip might be worth his while after all…

Yondu #1 hits stores on Wednesday.
