ComicBooks For Kids! has created a new colouring book using bith established comic book creators and new talent, as well as biographies for the artists featured within, a first for colouring books. Titled Legends Vol 1, this volume includes previously published art, new art or unseen-until-now art from the likes of John Bolton, Gary Gianni, Aaron Lopresti, Art Baltazar, Val Mayerik, Steve Rude, Shawn McManus, Stan Sakai, William Stout, Dan Parent, Rich Tommaso, the late Mike Wieringo, Topper Helmers. Jerry Bingham and more. A total of 34 artists donated their time and talents toward the first volume.

Mark Weiss, Comics For Kids president, stated, "We wanted to share our love of this industry with the kiddos in the hospital. We prepared this 56-page colouring book for kids of all ages as there is art included for all skill levels including adults. The paper quality is top of the line and all pages are perforated for easy removal. We also wanted to allow those who have aspirations of participating in this industry a chance to both help out the kids and get their talents showcased for others to see. There is a reason we entitled this book Legends and when you see the art we think you will agree. We are also  posting on our web site the pictures that are sent to us by the kiddos and their parents."

While the majority of these will be shipped to hospitals across the nation, ComicBooks For Kids! is allocating a small amount to those who would like to own a copy for $10 each, plus shipping. 100% of the proceeds will go toward printing and shipping copies to kids in hospital across the US.

The book comes in two covers. One by Steve Feicht, artist for Disney, Warner, Universal Studios and Nickelodeon who helped design the Tiki bird and Typhoon Lagoon attractions. The second by Topper Helmers, of Disney who designed the Indiana Jones attraction at Disneyland and part of the Imagineering team.

The book comes with a pack of crayons, All pages are perforated for easy removal and the pages are on a heavy stock. There are also a couple of mazes by maze artist Joe Wos and Gary Gianni created a "find the hidden objects in the picture" illustration.
