Wolverine's Daughter Sees Marvel Comics Presents #6 Selling From $25-$45 – But What About #5?

Yesterday, Bleeding Cool told you about incoming mass market speculation regarding the release of Marvel Comics Presents #6, published yesterday, regarding the appearance of a new character, Wolverine's Daughter.

There was no mother named, but the magical qualities of this new character suggest it may be the daughter of the late witch Sylvie D'Arqueness, seen in earlier Wolverine chapters in the same publication, by the same writer, as they team up every ten years to fight the same demon, over the decades. Such as Marvel Comics Presents #3.

And where did that lead?

And that would make Marvel Comics Presents #5 where Logan returns to Sylvie D'Arqueness's village after her death, where her mother and daughter live…

…the actual first appearance of Wolverine's Daughter. And some speculators may have been putting their money on the wrong comic book…

Not only that, but she is also the narrator. Indeed, she has narrated the whole story so far since #1… somewhere she was not in the beginning.

…and it is she who is referring to 'my family' in subsequent issues.

So… Wolverine's Daughter. First appearance as narrator, Marvel Comics Presents #1. Conceived in Marvel Comics Presents #3. First on-panel appearance Marvel Comics Presents #5. First claws-out Marvel Comics Presents #6. And maybe a naming in Marvel Comics Presents #7.

So while Marvel Comics Presents #6 has now sold copies from $25 to $45 on eBay… Marvel Comics Presents #5 is still selling for cover price today, though the 1:50 variant cover by Rob Liefeld is selling for up to $70.
