Five Spoilers For This Week's DCeased #2 – Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid…

The second issue of the rather well-received DCeased is published this week. The string sales success, seemingly out of nowhere, on this DC Comics superhero take on Garth Ennis' Crossed, sees a world population infected vy the Anti Life equation spread by smartphone use. And how the DC Comics superheroes deal with this threat – those who haven't already been turned into murderous arseholes.

Here are five things to look for in Wednesday's second chapter, each one more spoilery than the last. Some are seen in the preview of the comic book – but not all. You have been warned…

1. Smartphones can still get signals in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean miles from land.

With devastating consequences.

2. Damian Wayne is not worried about his father.

But given that Nightwing was turned in DCeased #1, maybe he should be? If you are looking as to how Tom Taylor might write a Batman ongoing series, this could be quite the insight. A Batman wiling to do anything to stop the spread of the Anti-Life Equation within him. With his own special plans for Damian. And an Alfred who whill do what is necessary

3. We have a Poison Ivy in touch with The Green as she is at the end of Heroes In Crisis.

But she looks as she did before she died in Heroes In Crisis. And, unlike the Harley Quinn comic boks of later, the couple are still together. But this is not part of any DC continuity outside of this book… and Harley Quinn has a Crossed Joker to contend with.

4. We get to see the Green Arrow using his boxing glove arrow in combat.

Just as in Injustice: Gods Amongst Us, Tom Taylor does like to add the most ridiculous in the pits of devestation and despair. And it heralds a very new Green Lantern. There will be cosplay. Lots and lots of cosplay.

5. Nuke it from space… it's the only way to be sure.

The only way to save the day is to destroy the internet. No, seriously, Tom, tell us how you really feel…
