Castlevania: Harmony of Despair Now Backwards Compatible on Xbox One

Good news for Castlevania fans as we found out today that Castlevania: Harmony of Despair for the Xbox 360 is now backward compatible. The word came down on Twitter from Larry Hryb, along with a link to show the game is also available to be purchased for $15.

For those of you unfamiliar with Castlevania: Harmony of Despair, this is a 2010 game that serves more like an arcade co-op fighter (for up to six players) where you get to choose from a set of fighters from throughout the series to explore the castle. The castle itself is tied to a cursed book called Grimoire, and as you flip through the pages you are learning the history of the castle and are forced to relive periods in time. The game was pretty innovative but was also awful to learn from scratch as it doesn't tell you how to play or how to use any of the characters, so you have to learn as you go. But it has a dedicated fanbase, so we're sure it will get some love.
