Marvel is going in big on Star Wars comics in 2019, launching their Age of Star Wars initiative with the Age of Republic in January. That kicks off with 40-page one-shot, Star Wars: Age of Republic Special #1, and contained within that massive tome may be the single most important Star Wars story since Marvel took over the licensing.

Yes, of course, we’re talking about a story featuring Jar Jar Binks by Chip Zdarsky:

Is JAR JAR BINKS’ role in the Star Wars story over? NOT BY A LONG SHOT! Because Chip Zdarsky has a rancor bone to pick with the galaxy’s most notorious Gungan.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
