Nintendo Postpone the Next Nintendo Direct Due To Earthquake

Nintendo has chosen to postpone their next Nintendo Direct livestream after an earthquake strikes Hokkaido, Japan. The company made the announcement this morning on Twitter letting fans know that the feed would be broadcast at a later date.

As we’ve come to know over the past few years, these streams are where the company shows what they have coming up and some of the latest additions to the lineups of other games. While we suspect there are some surprises on the way, it looks like the company would rather focus their attention on the deadly earthquake and the mudslides that have followed rather than promoting their games, and we can’t say we blame them.
