Lorraine Cink and Alice X. Zhang Celebrates 30 Marvel Superheroes with ‘Powers of a Girl’

Author, comedian, and Marvel podcast and video host Lorraine Cink is writing a new book for Marvel called Powers of a Girl: A Celebration of 30 Marvel Superheroes. Illustrated by Alice X. Zhang, the book will presumably be similar in format to some of the past books Cink has co-written, such as Marvel Absolutely Everything You Need to Know and Ultimate Marvel (except that Cink is the sole writer for this book). The book was announced over the weekend at BookCon, and garnered much excitement on Twitter.

No more information is available yet, though Cink’s website does feature a placeholder for the book featuring just the cover image and a planned release window. Make this book a permanent fixture on your coffee table when it hits stores in February 2019.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
