Sea Of Thieves is Getting a Surprising Day One Patch

At this point in time, getting a Day One patch from a game company is pretty commonplace, which makes us wonder why companies don't just add in what needs to be added. Rare, knowing that basically now have a hot on their hands, decided to have some fun with Sea Of Thieves fans. When you add the game to your PC or Xbox, you'll be prompted to download a Day One patch, which is exactly what it sounds like, as you can see from the tweet below.

Yep, you get an eye-patch with the #1 on it and it only costs you one gold piece to purchase. Which is kinda clever and very funny for the company to add that into the game. It may not be some wickedly awesome update that gamers have grown accustomed to dealing with but at the very least it's a cool little item that you get to download and have some fun with along with your crew. I dare you not to be "The Ship Of The 1" while on the seas!
