Cuphead’s Appearance At Microsoft’s E3 Show Was Too Short

Some games, you know what you’re getting, you know what to expect around every corner, and all that changes are the details. Whether it’s FPS or RPG games, so many of them have scripts that they follow almost exclusively. And then there’s Cuphead. This one is definitely an odd game choice, but. It’s Cuphead. Why would you expect sense of that?

The new trailer’s description tries to make sense of it, though. It doesn’t quite work.

Xbox One console exclusive also coming to Windows 10. Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game heavily focused on boss battles. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era, i.e. traditional hand drawn cel animation, watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz recordings.

Sadly, the game’s spot at Microsoft’s E3 show was far too short for our tastes.

Still, you can check it out below.
