A Female Starlord For Guardians Of The Galaxy? #MarvelOctober (UPDATE)

rrToday, we have a lot of Marvel news coming through about their All-New All-Different Marvel relaunch in October.

Guardians Of The Galaxy #1 being relaunched by Brian Michael Bendis and Valerio Schiti with a new #1.

The team includes Venom, Thing, Drax, Rocket – and a female Star Lord?

It seems so.

slThings really have changed in eight months. But no sign of Gamora or Angela… And the tagline reads "The racoon's in charge", so no one get any ideas above their station, apparently. Apart from Rocket.

While Star-Lord #1 by Sam Humphries, no known artist and Dave Johnson on covers. And someone who could be Peter Quill – they have a name tag – but could be anyone.

Tagline? "Feels like the first time. Feels like the very last time."

Could this be the hiding place of Abigail Brand from SWORD perhaps?

UPDATE: I am told No to Abigail, she will be in Captain Marvel. So… could this be Kitty Pryde?  4chan have the image.
