Marvel Ch-Ch-Changes – Seeking Out The Weird Solicitation Amends

NOV130567Sometimes I wonder about the relationship between the Marvel comics folk and the Marvel movie folk. At New York, a senior Marvel Comics executive told me that Marvel Studios wouldn't allow them to use movie or TV images on the covers of their comics, unless it was a specifically arranged adaptation.

It looked like things had thawed, and deals had been done, but news that Marvel have cancelled their Movie Variant cover versions of Guardians Of The Galaxy #11.NOW, #12 and #13 indicates that they still may be at odds.

Other Marvel creative changes include Iron Man Annual #1 now being drawn by Marcos Marz as well as Agustin Padilla & Alvaro Eduardo Martinez Bueno in a bit of a rush it seems to replace the solicited Carlo Pagulayan.

Superior Spider-Man Team-Up #10 will be written by Kevin Shinick, not the solicited Christopher Yost

And Disney Kingdoms; Seekers Of The Weird #2 is no longer being drawn by Karl Moline, but by Pascal Campion.
