Oh dear. We’d reported on some of the dodginess concerning Jesse Grillo, Bleeding Ink Productions and Kickstarter before. Today it all came to a head.

Hey everyone. I have some sad news. Bleeding Ink is no more. I can’t handle the disappointments and failures associated with trying to create so many projects. Between the trolls and people not doing the job they said they were going to do and the insane people online telling me I should kill myself, it just isn’t worth it.

I am going to look over everything today and see all the costs involved. If a project costs more to finish then the amount the Kickstarter made, then I’m just going to return the Kickstarter money. I know this will include Blackwood and War Zone. Patriot might be able to be finished at a lower cost and all the other projects are finished.

To the self-hating, pathetic people online that spent so much time to harass me. You’ve won. Congrats! I doubt you’ll ever know how much you have affected my life and I hope my failure brings you much joy. Despite what you might think about me, I have attempted to do my best to help the artists I work with and other people that have also attempted to achieve the same dream of being story-tellers. Fell free to write slander about me on your blogs and gossip about me on your podcast. I am out of the comic-book game and I just don’t care anymore. I hope someday you can come to terms with your anger and turn it into a positive.

Looks like you won’t have Nixon to kick around anymore.

Blackwood was funded in January, Patriot last September, War Zone last July, and there has been no sign. Still, if Jesse does decide to refund donors, then that’s a year interest free loan he’s had…
