Retailers Respond To Batman Lil Gotham #1 Sales
Another look at the week in comic book advance reorders, comic retailers increasing numbers on their books while they still can. Second prints, variants and high priced items are exaggerated on this chart, but it's still a good way to measure the coal face of comics.
Such as digital-first titles Batman Beyond and Lil Gotham selling better than expected in print, leading to an increase in orders on subsequent issues.
Image titles like Five Ghosts and East Of West are doing well it seems and it looks like Bounce #1 will probably get an instant sellout as the overprint is sucked up.
