The Judge Dredd Movie Trilogy, As Loosely Planned By Writer Alex Garland – UPDATED

Yesterday saw the Dredd panel at the London Film and Comic Con, the centrepiece of which was a full and meaty scene from the film. It was, according to one of our pairs of spying eyes, not a scene in the widely leaked screenplay, but something added in reshoots. The scene apparently took place on the set you see in this image:

God Help These Girls – Hannah Murray And Emily Browning

Stuart Murdoch's long time coming God Help the Girl is on the verge of finally becoming a reality. A small-scale musical romance set in Glasgow, the film is said to fuse  FrançoisTruffaut with Bill Forsythe, and knowing to the album of songs that was already released, I can more than believe it. Murdoch was the chief songwriter at Belle & Sebastian, and while this will be his first work as a filmmaker, he's already displayed strong storytelling instincts in his lyrics.
