Digital Delights – Marvel Comics Goes Day And Date

ThrillDelight: The Thrill Electric episode three has gone live.

DayAndDateDelight: Marvel have announced that all their comics will now be day-and-date digital apart from their licensed and MAX. Probably not Icon or Disney comics either. The move will be completed by March 2012.

MoneyBagsDelight: Graphic.Ly has bought the Apple App, Double Feature, developed by Four Star Studios – Mike Norton, Tim Seeley, Josh Emmons and Sean Dove. As part of the deal, Joshhas joined Graphicly to work on  their Apple Apps, and Four Star Studios has now made their work vailable through Graphic.Ly.

"Taking note of B&N's conflict with DC Comics over DC's "exclusive" digital deal with Amazon to sell its classic graphic novels via the Kindle Fire, Richards said that purchasing full graphic novels in digital format is "an upward trend," at Graphicly. Most digital vendors currently offer only the original comics serials rather than the complete digital graphic novel that collects all the serial issues. Richards said Graphicly is offering some complete graphic novel collections through the NookColor and are in talks with Amazon to offer full graphic novel collections through the Kindle Fire once it goes on sale."
