Jonathan Hickman Signed Fantastic Four #587 Sells For $300

Dynamic Forces are selling signed copies of Fantastic Four #587 by Stan Lee for $299.99. Of course, retailers and Diamond will take 60% of that, and Stan Lee will take a chunk himself.

But it seems the writer of the death issue may be in as much demand as the original co-creator of the comic. Larry's Comic has just sold a copy of the black logo/silver pen Jonathan Hickman signed variant comic, hidden in one in a hundred and thirty copies, for $299.99.

Jonathan Hickman Signed Fantastic Four #587 Sells For $300

If I was Jonathan Hickman, I'd be signing my comp copies right now. Hell, I might give it a go anyway, it doesn't look a very tricky signature to forge…

In other news, unbagged copies of the original issue have sold for as high at $25 (though usually around $10-$15) even though the book is still available for cover price in many places. While the Spoiler Cover 1:50 version has sold for $50.
