Where's Cully? Not At Wizard World Austin… (UPDATE)The press release was loud and proud.

Many of the world's most talented comic book and graphic novel artists and writers, including superstars Michael Golden, Mike Grell, Joe Madureira, Bill Sienkiewicz and Matthew Sturges, are among the more than 150 artist and writer guests scheduled to attend Wizard World Austin Comic Con, Friday through Sunday, November 12-14, at the Austin Convention Center.

And these included;

Cully Hamner ("Green Lantern: Mosaic," "Red"),

Which was news to Cully. He tweeted;

Okay, I'd really like to know WTF is up w/ Wizard. I'm not- NOT- appearing at WW Austin this month, regardless of what they've announced.

ATTN Wizard Conventions: STOP ANNOUNCING ME AS APPEARING AT SHOWS YOU HAVEN'T ASKED ME TO APPEAR AT. Okay?

It's weird, Wizard goes almost 20 years without ever inviting me to one of their shows, and now they can't stop announcing me…!

Repeat: I haven't been asked to appear at Wizard World Austin, & couldn't spare the time even if they had. That announcement is bullshit.

Cully is also announced as attending Wizard World Atlanta in December. Hmm…

UPDATE: Wizard have issues a new press release headlined "Austin Comic Con – Artists Alley – Cully Hamner NOT attending"
