"Black Widow": New TV Spot and 4 New Character Posters

The first movie of phase three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe hits with Black Widow this May. People have been asking for this movie for literally ten years since Natasha walked onto our screens in 2010 in Iron Man 2. Marvel kept saying no though and now that the character is, spoiler alert, dead in the present day of the Marvel universe they have decided to go back a few years for her solo movie. Black Widow takes place right after Captain America: Civil War and this new TV spot talks about how the Avengers were not Natasha's first family.

On top of the new TV spot, the official Marvel Twitter account shared four new character posters of the core main cast. It is lovely to see three of the four characters getting posters for this movie are women.

Black Widow is an interesting choice for kicking off the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe but this is also one of those movies that we should have seen years ago. So better late than never has to be worth something in this case. Now that everyone has seen how amazing Florence Pugh is after her amazing 2019 it's making people look forward to this movie even more.

Black Widow, directed by Cate Shortland, stars Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, O. T. Fagbenle, Rachel Weisz, and Ray Winstone. It will be released on May 1, 2020.
