Donatello Revealed as a Powerbrony in Power Rangers/TMNT #2 [Preview]

The second issue of explosive publisher BOOM! Studios and IDW's crossover event, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, is hitting stores in January, and a press release from BOOM! is promising a "shocking reveal that'll change everything." What could that reveal be? And might this early preview of the issue contain it?

We're going to say yes, because this preview shows us that Donatello is a member of an elite organization, something we didn't know. That's right, Donatello is a Powerbrony, the name for the hardcore fans of the Power Rangers.

Studios, under license by Hasbro, Inc. and in partnership with IDW and Nickelodeon, today revealed a first look at MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #2, the latest issue of an all-new five-issue limited series event! Written by Ryan Parrott (Power Rangers: Necessary Evil), illustrated by Simone di Meo (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Venom Annual), colored by Walter Baiamonte, and lettered by Ed Dukeshire (Once & Future), the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers fight – and maybe team up with – the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in January 2020.

Tommy faces a shocking betrayal within the Foot Clan that puts him in the crosshairs of their leader – Shredder! But can the Rangers and Turtles put their differences aside before Shredder unleashes his ultimate weapon? No Rangers or Turtles fan can miss this shocking reveal that'll change everything they've ever known!

Studios webstore. Digital copies can be purchased from content providers like comiXology, iBooks, Google Play, and Madefire.
