The Origin of the Thieves Guild Used to Torture Black Fox in Black Cat #7 [Preview]

Black Cat #7 is in stores from Marvel Comics this week, by Jed McKay and Travel Foreman, with a cover by J. Scott Campbell of Black Cat's butt. We've got a preview below.

The Black Cat's mentor, the Black Fox, has been kidnapped by the leader of the Thieves Guild, Odessa Drake, who is understandably pissed off because the Fox and Cat and their crew have been stealing things for the purpose of breaking into the Thieves Guild vault.

And the preview opens with Drake torturing the Black Fox… emotionally.

But making fun of his age and beating him up aren't punishment enough for The Black Fox.

Drake is going to make him sit through… an origin story. Noooo!!!

Anything would be better than an origin story! Anything!

That's all well and good, but did Odessa Drake read the recent Mr. and Mrs. X series? Because that didn't end well for Candra.
