NECA Reveals Packaging for Toony Terrors Series 1

NECA has a new horror line coming, bringing the fun and terror of Saturday morning cartoons to some of the most iconic characters in horror history. This first wave of Toony Terrors as they are called features two versions of Pennywise, one from the 1990 version of IT, and one from the 2017 version. The other two figures are Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees. Check them out below in their packaging!

Now, these won't feature the kind of articulation NECA horror collectors are used to, and that is ok. that is not what this line seems to be about. Each figure comes on a blister card, where the back of the card doubles as a diorama backdrop for each character, with each being character specific.

This line has a ton of potential, I especially like that Jason. It looks like he walked right out of an episode of Scooby-Doo. A second series was teased at the NECA fan event held last weekend in New Jersey as well, including Michael Myers and more. So it seems like this is a line with some juice behind it.
