It’s Alive! to Publish Jeff Nicholson’s Father & Son Omnibus

It’s Alive!has announced its next publication, an omnibus collection of Eisner award nominee Jeff Nicholson’s Father & Son. Father & Son Omnibus: Reality Soldiers will hit stores on September 25th and is available for preorder now. A press release contains more details:

New York City, New York (June 24, 2019) – IT’S ALIVE! is proud to announce the upcoming publication of FATHER & SON OMNIBUS: REALITY SOLDIERS by multiple-Eisner Award nominee Jeff Nicholson. Nicholson is best known for his work on THROUGH THE HABITRAILS and ULTRA KLUTZ, but his most personal and possibly funniest work fell within the pages of the FATHER & SON comic book series.

Way back in the “ironic” 1990’s there was a bit of nostalgia for the 1970’s in popular culture. Now here we are in the 2010’s and can wax nostalgic (ironically or not) about the 1990’s, thanks to this Father & Son Omnibus collection. So turn off that smart phone and return to those fun-filled “sucky days” of self-righteous baby boomer father vs. grunge-era slacker son, as only the mind of comics veteran Jeff Nicholson could put forward. This battle of the generations eventually comes to a surreal all-out humor war, involving a few impossible and absurd deaths. The Omnibus collects all the Kitchen Sink Press, Bad Habit and Colonia Press issues, plus more!

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
