Crunchyroll Games Will Be Releasing "RWBY: Crystal Quest" on Mobile

Some big news from Rooster Teeth and Crunchyroll Games today as RWBY is getting a mobile game called RWBY: Crystal Quest for iOS and Android. This game will be a jeweled puzzle mobile game, made in partnership with EGLS Technology, and will be a free-to-play title based on all three seasons of RWBY Chibi. So, of course, you'll be seeing Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang all make appearances in the game, and carry over the same comedic style you've seen from the shorts they've done in the series. We have a couple of quotes from both companies about the game below, but you can pre-register at this link before the game is released sometime in the summer of 2019.

"The Crunchyroll community already loves 'RWBY' for its charming cast of characters and its engaging action scenes," said Brady McCollum, head of global operations and international, Crunchyroll. "In 'RWBY Crystal Quest,' fans can expect much of the same, with fan-favorite characters, similar pacing, and attacks coming to life through a fast-paced, match-three format."

"In 'RWBY: Crystal Quest,' fans can play as one of their favorite 'RWBY' characters by leading them through a series of puzzle battles," said Kerry Shawcross, writer and director of "RWBY" at Rooster Teeth. "We're so excited to bring 'RWBY Chibi' to life with our friends at Crunchyroll Games and we can't wait to share more with you soon."
