Will Tom King's Big Change for Batman Begin Tomorrow in Batman #73?

Tom King had been talking about his big changed plans for Batman. That's before his planned run on the twice-monthly title from DC Comics was curtailed and truncated. He told The Hollywood Reporter,

Beyond that — and this is recent — I've been talking to, not just DC, but Warner Brothers and AT&T. What we're going to do for the last 15 issues is something no one's ever seen for the character. It's something that's going to change the character for a generation, or maybe more. Maybe forever. I never thought we'd get this kind of stuff approved; when you're working with a corporate character, you think you're going to have to reset. But this is a change that's going to shake the world of Batman and it's going to leave my mark on the character.

Now the final twenty issues of Batman have been truncated into twelve issues of Batman/Catwoman. But will that include this big change?

I understand that Batman #73, the fourth part of The Fall And The Fallen, and clearly leading up to Batman #75 may give a major indication of what that big change is. Or at least a big change, whether it is *the* big change is still up for grabs. But it may be another lead in to making Bruce Wayne truly happy – and thus able to no longer be Batman. Or something…

Find out tomorrow…
