Warren Ellis and Jason Howard's Trees: Three Fates Coming in September

Warren Ellis writes his newsletter every week. Some people still don't subscribe. Here's another reason why you should stop not subscribing and start subscribing by clicking here. Because he's just put up a solicitation for September for the third chapter of his John Wyndham-ish alien-not-quite-an-invasion series with Jason Howard, Trees. Of which there is meant to be a TV series on the way, from Hardy Son & Baker, the production company founded by Tom Hardy for NBCU International Studios.

Ellis writes,

NEWS: I don't think I have any.  Other than — TREES is back on the publication schedule. I wrote it all ages ago, Jason is currently drawing the last episode of the story, by the time the thing comes out it'll all be long done.  And I've got to tell you, it's got some of Jason's best art ever.

I'm being bad and leaking this screenshot, but some people apparently needed proof that this was happening, SO:

Warren Ellis and Jason Howard's Trees: Three Fates Coming in September

It was originally just going to be TREES issues 15-19, but Image thought it would work better as a branded serial. so there it is. TREES.  TREES: TWO FORESTS.  TREES: THREE FATES.  If I get to TREES: FIVE GO-OLD RINGS call the police

Also if you don't tell your comics shop you want it they just won't order it. That's just how it is right now.

It is. Here's that solicitation run through the OCR…
