Rumor: Is Square Enix Teasing Their Avengers Game For E3 2019?

We've been waiting for what feels like an eternity for Square Enix to tell us what they're doing with their Avengers game, and we might get an answer soon. The game has been in quiet development by Crystal Dynamics for a few years now with the only hint this thing still exists is the teaser at the 2017 Game Awards and new job listings coming up on occasion. Now conspiracy theorists believe they know the game will get a full preview at E3 2019, and they're pointing to Square's own social media as the source. These two posts have been highlighted teasing their E3 press conference before the event kicks off, each with two paintings on the side. The first one has two colors of purple and orange, the second with green and blue.

If you haven't figured out where this might be going yet, the idea is they're teasing the Infinity Stones as being part of the reveal for the Avengers game. It's a bit of a stretch, but considering how popular Avengers: Endgame was and how directly linked the entire MCU was to those gems, it's conceivable that we're headed in that direction with the game as well. Do you think Square Enix is teasing a reveal of their Avengers game at E3? Or is this just people fishing for whatever they can get their hands on for any clue about what will debut?
