BC FCBD Roundup: Our Favorite Thing is My Favorite Things is Monsters

Today's Free Comic Book Day offerings were pretty diverse, with a lot of cool comic samplings from across the spectrum of genre, format, and style.

One of the coolest books I was able to get my hands on was Our Favorite Thing is My Favorite Thing is Monsters by Emil Ferris. This is a unique, 16 page offering, so it's hard to say whether it will be available later.

Ferris has a a graphic novel collection of their works titled My Favorite Thing is Monsters, where you will see a great selection of their distinctive, mind-boggling art, which is rendered completely with ball-point pen. So, even if you missed out on this FCBD offering, you can still pick up some of Ferris' amazing work.

Hoepfully, Our Favorite Thing is My Favorite Thing is Monsters will be part of a later My Favorite Thing is Monsters collection.

Emil Ferris's runaway smash hit My Favorite Thing Is Monsters has been the graphic novel event of the decade and for this year's Free Comic Book Day, Ferris has delivered something truly special: an all-new, 16-page Monsters story exclusive to FCBD readers. Additionally, Our Favorite Thing Is My Favorite Thing Is Monsters features two other Ferris short stories never before collected: a six-page autobiographical story about the harrowing circumstances that led to the creation of My Favorite Thing Is Monsters, as well as a five-page "how to" strip appropriately titled, "How To Draw a Monster"! This will certainly be the prestige book of FCBD 2019!
