Ooh Yeah! Mattel's Fisher-Price "Little People" Line Adds WWE, The Beatles! Dig it!
While I'm in danger of aging myself dramatically when I write this, there's nothing better than Toy Fair 2019 to remind you just how far the business of play has come over the years. When I was a kid, Fisher-Price aleady had a great reputation for the quality of its toys – and I was a definitely raised a "child of Fisher-Price." From farm playets and smiling phones to a xylophone that I loved so much that I'm positive it forced my folks into therapy for years, I was down with "The FP" – but technology's gotten a whole lot better, so the days of non-descript faces and basic shapes have been left in the past.
Case in point, Mattel's Fisher-Price "Little People" – which went a little radical (in a good way) with news on Friday that the line would be taking a walk on the wild side with the additions of some familiar faces from the WWE and The Beatles. While popular, not exactly the first two licenses you think of when it comes to marketing a product to kids… but if you're going after their parents?
