Gene Luen Yang and Stephen Segovia Take Over The Terrifics in April

The Terrifics may be one of two New Age of DC Heroes titles left standing after Damage was canceled (read it about right here on Bleeding Cool), but it is getting a new creative team in April. We already knew that Jeff Lemire would be leaving the title, and it looks like DC has found a replacement in April as the acclaimed Gene Luen Yang, who contributed to the Terrifics Annual last year, will be taking over the title alongside artist Stephen Segovia, promising a turning point for the team.

DC's solicitations were leaked on 4chan earlier today, creating a feeding frenzy for Bleeding Cool and a lot of heartbreak for compliant DC media partners who probably had EX-X-XCLUSIVES set to run next week. Sorry folks. That's the way the comic book journalism cookie crumbles!

Check out the solicit for The Terrifics #15 below.

The next turning point for the Terrifics starts here! It's a new chapter in the lives of Mr. Terrific, Phantom Girl, Metamorpho, and Plastic Man as their renewed mission of exploring the Multiverse and protecting Earth's place amid the cosmic tapestry hits upon a terrifying message hidden within their own technology: something big is coming. When a distress call from Bgztl heralds Armageddon for planet Earth, the team must think bigger, trust no one and fight with everything they've got to save the planet from… the Megacosm!

Jude TerrorAbout Jude Terror

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
