Is Dave Gibbons' Venom #11 Variant Better Than Watchmen? Joe Quesada Thinks So

Following the historic peace accords reached when global entertainment superstar Donny Cates met with renowned comic book wizard Alan Moore to settle the Watchmen vs. Venom debate, Watchmen artist Dave Gibbons has produced a variant for Venom #11. Gibbons recently apologized for the influence Watchmen has had on comic books, but that influence is clearly strong in the variant cover revealed by Marvel executive Joe Quesada Tuesday.

Venom #11 will probably come out in February.
