Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fans Freak Out Over New Found Item

Fans of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate have been freaking out today over what they now suspect is confirmation of a new character. The proof in question comes to us from Nintendo’s own Twitter feed in which they posted an update from the SSBU college tour. In the video below, between 0:28-0:29, people have spotted a new small green item in the game that’s never been used before, and it sent everyone into a speculation spiral on social media.

The biggest guess that people game up with is that the green item is a Growth, which is something found in the Golden Sun series. As you might recall from a couple days ago, we reported that a suspected leak revealed Isaac from Golden Sun was one of the seven new potentially leaked characters coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. If all of this is true, those few green pixels are confirmation. But let’s be honest, until Nintendo says something, none of us know anything and this is just an educated guessing game. Let’s hope Nintendo’s next Direct feed just tells us the last set of characters before the game is released on December 7th.
