Ubisoft Registers Trademarks for Far Cry Comic Books
Golden Age Nostalgia is a side mission in first-person shooter Far Cry 5 from Ubisoft. The quest has players looking for a total of 12 comic books across the three main regions, so that the quest giver Nadine can have something to remember her grandfather by. She sends players out to find comics from his collection that he sold years ago.
Well, could these comics be coming to life? I mention this because Ubisoft has applied to register its first Far Cry trademark for years for comic books.
It may well be that the likes of Titan, Dark Horse, or IDW may be planning a series of licensed titles and Ubisoft want to make sure it's legally confirmed that they have the right to license such comics to such publishers.
But it could also be that these mentioned Far Cry comics may come to life… and a side mission may involve a trip to your real-life comic book store.
The comics are various issues of Lost on Mars, Hours of Darkness, and Dead Living Zombies.
