The debut of the Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor in Doctor Who Season 11 is finally happening this Fall, but before then, Titan Comics plans to revisit the 12 previous Doctors in an anthology comic title Doctor Who: Thirteenth Doctor Vol. 0 – The Many Lives of Doctor Who. Yeah, it’s a mouthful.

Doctor Who: the Thirteenth Doctor Vol. 0 – The Many Lives of Doctor Who’s existence was revealed back at the Diamond Retailer Summit in April before C2E2, but Entertainment Weekly glommed the EXCLUSSSIVE reveal of all the details Thursday, and they took full advantage of that opportunity to plaster their watermark all over their EXCLUSSSIVE preview images, presumably because it makes them feel validated. And who are we to deprive an entertainment website of such validation? That’s why we’ve copied all of the images and pasted them below.

The book will tell untold tales of all of the past Doctors, and the creative team includes writer Richard Dinnick and artists Mariano Laclaustra, Giorgia Sposito, Arianna Florean, Iolanda Zanfardino, Brian Williamson, Claudia Ianniciello, and Rachael Stott. Covers are by Claudia Ianniciello and Will Brooks. The 64-page book hits comic shops in September and bookstores in October. Here’s the description:

An introduction to the brand new thirteenth Doctor, featuring multiple stories of previous incarnations of the Doctor.

The ultimate celebration of the Doctor’s many, many lives, a perfect beginner’s guide and a brilliant tribute for long-term fans to enjoy! It’s said that your life flashes before your eyes when you die: as the Doctor regenerates from his Twelfth incarnation to her Thirteenth, she relives memories from her many incarnations, showcasing unseen adventures from EVERY version of the Doctor!

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
