Elizabeth Olsen Wants to Do a Famous X-Men Story for a Scarlet Witch Solo Movie

Elizabeth Olsen seems to be going back and forth as to whether or not she wants to do a Scarlet Witch solo movie. While she has said that no one has talked to her about it yet, she does have an idea of which story she would like to adapt. Olsen is apparently on team 'go big or go home', because she recently told Metro that she would love to do House of M.

"I would love to [do a standalone], and I would love it to be House Of M, which is a comic book series of The Vision and Scarlet Witch having a make-believe family,' she revealed. 'She [Wanda] believes she has twin children – she alters her own reality to believe that, but really she has a miscarriage and Vision goes along with it. Then they [Vision and her family] have to tell her that she was make-believing the entire time, and she has a very traumatic experience and screams, and kills all the mutants – but that's an X-Men story so we'd have to adjust the ending."

The mutants are probably on their way home to Marvel, so does that mean we'll have some sort of crossover? Olsen is pretty much on the same page the rest of us are.

"I don't know… I'm so confused by all of that."

House of M is one the biggest comic storylines, and Marvel could base an entire phase of movies on just the way that story effects the various characters. Maybe phase 5? We'll have to see.
