Archie Comics has announced a two-issue mini-series in June pitting the Archie Superteens, who are as the name suggests Archie characters as superheroes, against the Crusaders, a team of regular superheroes published by Archie Comics. The creative team consists of Ian Flynn, David Williams, Gary Martin, Kelsey Shannon, David Williams, Gary Martin, and Jack Morelli with a cover by Williams, Martin, and Shannon, a variant by Williams, and a pencil variant by Tom Grummett.

CBR had the EXCLUSSSIVE first look at this stunning announcement, the covers, and some preview art, so Bleeding Cool has EXCLUSSSIVELY copied and pasted it here. They also obtained a quote from Ian Flynn, who said, “It’s been a while since we’ve seen the ‘Superteens,’ so it’s fantastic to see them jumping back into action. And folks will likely still be hungry for more Mighty Crusaders goodness. The meeting of these two super-teams has been a long time coming and it’s got all the fun and excitement you could expect from a collision of these two properties!”

About Jude Terror

A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Scourge of Rich Johnston, maker of puns, and seeker of the Snyder Cut, Jude Terror, sadly, is not the hero comics needs right now... but he's the one the industry deserves.
