The Saga of Nightwing's Ass Continues with Dick the Stripper in Nightwing #38

The moment from Sam Humphries's Nightwing we've been waiting for has arrived at last. Dick Grayson showing off his ass: confirmed with Nightwing #38.

During this comic (which I'll be doing a full review on later, so keep an eye out for that), Dick needs to find an unconventional way into a Bludhaven casino currently being run by the villainous Judge. His solution? Ask one of his cross train students to let him work as a stripper for the night. Beautiful.

This expands the important sub-plot running through Nightwing comics about the ass of Dick Grayson. What does it look like? How much can it lift? Does it also have its own stun batons? What does it look like? Of course, the grand irony is that we can never get a full look at the butt. This is a detective comic, and that would spoil the grand mystery of it all. That's just detective writing 101.

Also yes, he also has bat-logos on his boxers.

Of course, the important part is that Dick had fun. It may not be apparent from the above image due to the frightened look on his face. However, Dick gives you the sexy eyes on the next page before giving his tips to a woman who just lost all her money in the casino.

One can only hope that Humphries and Chang have the wherewithal to continue the subplot in future issues of Nightwing.

As for this ass-pearance, I give it 9/10 cheeks. It's not as visible as many previous cameos, but it gets points for creativity, dancing, and the bat symbols on the pants. Also, the charity is important. The butt must be shared by all and sundry.
