Jurassic Park Funko Pops Roar Into Our Lives… Including Sexy Jeff Goldblum

Jurassic Park is coming to Funko. Hitting stores in February will be a big first wave of Funko Pops based on first film in the series. And yes, there are dinosaurs. One note: this initial announcement does NOT have the Dr. Ellie Sattler Pop, as she is being included in a Pop Ride of the Jurassic Park jeep and will be shown off at a later time (although if you search hard enough you may find it).

Let's take a look first at the dinos. It must have been hard to limit themselves to only three from the start, but it would be hard to argue that they didn't choose correctly. Even the chase Dilophosaurus makes perfect sense. The thing that does not make sense: why wouldn't you make the T-Rex a deluxe-sized Pop? This is the reason you have that scale — for figures like that one. That is a huge missed opportunity. Other than that, these are great sculpts, and as long as the paint aps hold up, they will be awesome additions to the collection.

The human figures are all home runs. John Hammond, especially, is just so perfect. Now that there is a Nedry Pop, can we get Seinfeld, too? Those are high on my wants list. Ian Malcom is going to be the most popular for sure, but I am not quite sure if this is the version people will want…

When they can get sexy injured Jeff Goldblum! He may be the best Pop ever, and that is going to be an insanely difficult Pop to find, especially since it is a Target exclusive. To date, I have only found two target exclusives in stores ever, so they better get their s@#! together before this hits stores. Also coming as an exclusive to Entertainment Earth is a Nedry and Dilophosaurus two pack from when he is attacked.

These hit stores and such in February. You can preorder them here now.
