Official Synopsis for Solo: A Star Wars Story Is Here, Teases [SPOILER] First Meeting

The upcoming Solo solo movie is due out in a couple of months, and there are still a ton of questions about the film. You may recall that originally, the film was being directed by the team of Phil Lord and Chris Miller, but the pair were booted out the airlock and Ron Howard was brought in to finish the feature.

Star Wars has now officially released the synopsis for their upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story spinoff film about the most notorious scruffy-looking nerf herder in the galaxy far, far away.

Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga's most unlikely heroes.

Maybe you recall the strange affair of the "fake or not fake" artwork from last month, or perhaps you've seen the 'leaked' LEGO set featuring the Millenium Falcon with a unfamiliar front end but the mention of "Kessel Run", so maybe we'll be seeing the notable victory in the story.

StarWars.com compiled a master list of Instagram and Twitter posts by Ron Howard, which are pretty great and don't really spoil anything other than the fact that he's working on a Star Wars film.

Solo: A Star Wars Story stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han, Donald Glover as Lando, Woody Harrelson as Beckett, Emilia Clarke as Kira, and Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca.  Other notable cast will include Thandie Newton (Westworld), Paul BettanyClint Howard, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Warwick Davis.

Solo: A Star Wars Story will hit theaters on May 25th, 2018.
