The Latest Splatoon 2 Splatfest Event Results Are In

The latest global Splatfest event for Splatoon 2 has come to an end, and it actually finished out in a surprising fashion. If you're not already aware, the latest challenge put Action films against Comedy films in a 24-hour-battle to see what everyone loved the most. This was actually a pretty intense Splatfest as Action came out as the frontrunner for a while, but then at the last moment, the Comedy fans rallied together and secured a victory.

You have to give Nintendo a lot of credit for these events, as they are both a way to gauge their audience and see where everyone stands on certain topics that you'd have to pay people to be polled about, while at the same time engaging their audience and giving them content as a reason to play beyond just simply winning the match. No word yet on what the next global Splatfest event will be, nor do we really know of any plans for the next regional questions. But chances are we'll probably see something Valentine's Day themed soon.
