Ed Brisson to Take Over One of the Brian Michael Bendis-Vacated Titles at Marvel Comics?

Christmas time and the creative changing gossip gathers round an old country pub fire…

Brian Michael Bendis has left Marvel Comics' exclusive deal, as basically writer numero uno there, to sign an exclusive deal with DC Comics, with the hot rumour he'll be writing the Superman ongoing title with artists Ivan Reis and Joe Prado.

But what of his vacated titles at Marvel Comics? Well, Defenders is coming to an end. It's been stated that a woman creative team will be taking over Jessica Jones.

We also hear the rumour that Ed Brisson, of Comeback and Sheltered, Iron Fist and Cable, and upcoming The Ballad of Sang, will be taking over one of the Bendis-vacated series. Could it be Spider-Man, with Miles Morales lead? Or Invincible Iron Man?

Those do seem to be the two favourites…
