Love/Hate Actor Tom Vaughan-Lawlor Confirms Avengers: Infinity War Role

While Thanos, played by Josh Brolin, is the main big bad of Avengers: Infinity War he's going to have some backup. The Black Order was announced at D23 and now we have a member of the order more or less confirmed. Irish actor Tom Vaughan-Lawlor was speaking with Dublin Live he confirmed that he does have a role in the movie but couldn't say what the role is.

"I am. But it's like I'm one of those ones where you go into a sentence to say something about it and hope you have a job at the end of the sentence. You sign so many documents and waivers and people ask you about it and you have to give the generic and boring 'I can't say too much about it'. But I am doing it and it's really amazing and an amazing thing to be part of."

Vaughan-Lawlor was spotted on set from set photos and spoke about what it was like to sign that giant NDA.

"With social media there's so much potential for leaks so (Marvel) understandably want to micro-manage things and make sure it goes out when they are ready. They didn't know me so when I went over they were meeting me for the first time. They do background checks to make sure you're not a white supremacist and they're not hiring someone with weird baggage."

Marvel is part of Disney and the last thing they need is someone coming along and ruining their family friendly image. It's an essential part of their brand and a part that they can't give up anytime soon.
